Bethel Assembly Clovis, NM is a place where people can meet Jesus, engage in life giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory. Join us for our Sunday services!
What To Expect
If you are new to us, you may want some questions answered before you visit. Here’s a look at what you can expect as you walk through our doors this weekend.
Where do I go?
We find it best to enter through the front door. I can tell you this, when you arrive you will be greeted by friendly people who will be available to assist you with your children, help you get refreshments, and direct you and your family to the correct meeting spaces.
What should I wear?
We're casual – so you can be too. The staff will mainly be in dress jeans or slacks. If you are more inclined to wear Sunday's best, that is fine with us. We have people who are very comfortable all the way to ‘business casual’. We don’t really care what you wear, we just care about you!
What time does the service start, and what should I expect?
Worship starts at 10:45 am, but coffee, bagels, and donuts will be available in the Fellowship Hall so plan to be here early.
The worship team will play a song and then a smiling face will welcome you and give some helpful instruction and pray over the service. After a few more songs of worship and a time of prayer in the alters the worship will conclude. Then the pastor will deliver a message that is carefully designed with people just like you in mind: real people, looking for real answers to issues they face every day, all of which incorporate God’s timeless truths from the Bible that speak to where you’re living today. After the message, you’ll have an opportunity to respond, then you will be sent off with a blessing. *You can expect the Worship Service to last about 90 minutes.
Please feel free to stay, enjoy refreshments, and sign up for the next Growth Track event. Also, during this time the staff will be accessible for prayer and individual encouragement if you desire.
What about my kids?
Once your child checks in, Our children’s ministry, BethelKidz, provides an exciting experience for infants through 5th grade. This allows you to get the most from your experience while your child is receiving high levels of care, attention, age-appropriate teaching, and fun!
Oh, and the children’s workers team will be wearing a BehelKidz staff t-shirt so that you can easily identify them.
How about my teenagers – what is there for them?
Our student ministry, BreakThrough Youth, meets for monthly hangouts, and summer camp each year. Soon we will be launching break-out groups at various locations and homes where there will always be food, an Interactive study of life issues and Biblical answers, *plus an opportunity to hang out and meet new friends.
How can I become involved?
Becoming involved is, well, pretty simple here.
We’ve boiled it down to five simple steps:
01. Begin attending regularly.
02. Express Interest
03. Attend the Growth Track Event.
04. Make a difference by becoming one of our valued volunteers.
05. Get involved in one of many Growth Groups during the week.
